Back from vacations in NYC and Virginia City~ the daffs are opening!

Seems like forever since I’ve been here!! The trips we took were great fun and quite relaxing. Last few days have been rainy and windy,typical for April. Today is a beautiful morning, this weekend our temps will be in the 80’s!!! This will be a first since last summer, yea!!! Anyway, The day after we returned from our 9 hour drive from VA I decided to prune the roses, pulled some weeds, raked the whole front yard and made several trips back and forth with the wheelbarrow into the woods in the backyard. I statrted at noon and finished at 7pm… Am I a nut or what? And so, for the last 5 days my body has been paying for pushing myself so hard. I feel so old…. There’s just sooooo much work to do you know!!!! I’ve planned two more garden beds so hubby will be filling them in w/ compost today. Hopefully after my work day is done I can get my hands in the dirt and plant some freesia, peonie poppies, lupine, foxglove, cosmos, and lavender. Pretty exciting!!!
