This weeks pond project..

So I’ve bought a pressurised pond filter as additional filtration and to maintain a good water quality. It needed to be buried. All four ‘suitable’ locations by the pond allowed me to dig 1 out of the 2 feet down into the ground before hitting old brick walls and foundations (before my house was here there was a bus station) today I finally found a suitable spot and now it’s buried and ready for action!!
It’s also invisible from the house as it hides well behind the Japanese ornament
Here’s a big slab stepping stone from out the dig!
And finally, my lily has a second flower this week!

It definitely is Paul! The closer to the house the less there is! Trust me to have a pond by the garage where it's the worst! Now I know why next door have a much smaller shallower pond! Just given pump a test run and I think it should to the trick! It's off for tonight and then will be permanently on from tomorrow after I've made sure there's no leaks etc

Good work Dan.

Dan, don't forget to clean the filter on a regular basis and to winterize it according to the instructions. I friend of mine didn't and it cracked from freezing temperatures.

Thankyou!! Will be checking the instructions! It needs twice a week cleaning! Fortunately It's only by the turn of a winder and a button
