i changed jobs, became a grandparent, got rid of the garden pond and just completed a refit on the bathroom.
will ignore the jobs bit, but because we are proud grandparents just felt that we could not live with a garden pond and a baby. even though anne and her new family does not live at home.
well we had an outdated bathroom so it was gutted in stages and every tile was removed.
in place of the pedestal sink we now have a vanity unit
changed the convential loo to a toilet with a corner cistern. wish divine intervention came to my assistance on this one! the fitting was a nightmare as there was no way i could see what i was doing. applying the silicone sealant was like groping in the dark. got there after many attempts and numerous loos flushed with a bucket.
the convential radiator was replaced with a tall towel rad.
after much swearing the bath gave up the ghost and a shower installed
angie’s cousin put in a fan
and an electrician did all the electrical work
ps
mummy anne with kyle
hell, i missed christmas. happy valentines’s day everybody

It'll be Valentines day in 10 days, maybe you were saying it in advance, rather than mixing up the dates.

*+Congratulations on becoming a grandad Dave, bathroom looks nice as well.
My pond was and actually still is covered completely with a safety net and good strong wire on a frame, it protected our grandchildren which obviously was No1 priority and now serves as protection for the fish from cats and the heron, who emptied the pond up the road.......
