for next spring. A large piece of paper, pencil and ruler
will blow away the November blues.
So useful to find when there is work to do in March.

We have family run Brittons Garden Centre at Mears Ashby. They buy seeds in bulk from Kings, the same as all the others do. Suttons, Fothergills etc.
they all buy from Kings. The Britton family spend this time of year filling plain brown packets which sell for 90p next April. Give good quantity for the money. No advice, you are expected to know. Dont do mail order, sadly.
The others pay for fancy packets covered in advice which doesnt apply in certain parts of the country , and charge for them ! I used to worry myself silly about getting the planting dates right, now just feel if the soil is 39 deg C.
Well worth going off route if you drive near Northampton
in the Spring. They also have the best Scottish Seed Potatoes at reasonable prices, after mid February.
Its about 100 miles from Paul's Patch in Essex. Open all the weekend. Closed Thursdays.

Yes a bit far for my 20 seed potatoes Diane! I will buy those in a garden centre in Jan/Feb. I used to buy them mail order but no real point, I don't think!
