were not successful. I apologise to any who bought them.
Only 3 actually flowered in the luxury conditions.
The left overs were full of blossom in the cold greenhouse.
So I have taken all the others from the window sill out to the cold dark world.
Still dont understand why they didnt respond to warmth,
light and comfortable temperatures.
Does anyone know ?

I agree Bathgate, although Viola do better, it appears that the smaller flowers are less effort for the plants in inclement weather....cheerful faces too ☺
cyclamen do better in my cold conservatory than the house as well

My pansies are not doing so well in the garden as regards flowers either, don't think they liked getting drowned, they look healthy though so hoping for a showing of flowers in the springtime....

I don't do anything at all to my pansies, except give them a light trim when they outgrow their space. They are always in bloom.

Sorry to hear about your winter pansies. I've never had any success with them either.

I know pansies prefer cool/cold temperatures and quickly expire once the 'dog days' of summer roll around. They can even tolerate a lite frost and not uncommon to see them growing up through an early Spring snow. Mine, in my outdoor planter, have rebounded nicely once the cooler temperatures returned.
