This is my Male Stanly

I bought a pair of Stanly Rosellas about 3 months ago.I bought a Mr and Mrs Stanly. When I got home I picked up the cage in the front seat of my car and the bottom fell out. Yes you have guessed it one of the birds flew away. It was the Mrs Stanly. I looked all over and put the word out to all the neighbours that she had been lost. Well we did not find her.So Mr Stanly has been on his own. Not a problem to start with as he had a new Avairy to take his mind of a partner. But this last 3 weeks he has been sitting outside a nest box calling his heart out and displaying himself in his full colour. ( Tipical Male) So I have been trying very hard to find him a wife.To cut a long story short I have found a Mrs Stanly it is arriving tomorrow. So I am very pleased ( Not as pleased as Mr Stanly will be) LOL

These are my other pair of Stanlys You can see the difference in colour from the Male and the female.
So I am hoping for a very happy ending and that Mrs Stanly likes Mr Stanly we will see.

have you had cold weather since the first Mrs Stanley escaped? poor thing...Hope someone found her. I had a pair of lovebirds...they had a good bond but they were siblings... I went away on a ski trip and left them with my husband to care for them...when I got home he said to me" You better check out the female, I haven't seen her in three days"...(I made them nest bags)...she was eggbound and dead... My poor little Yoshi pined for a while...but he seems to have accepted his lot now...
