My new flower bed

I telephoned my Mum (Hollygate) and asked her if she would pop round to give me some advice on planting out conifers as I dont know much about them.This is the bed we planted out
On the left of the photo their WAS a tree>>>>>. And Mum said we need to CLIP that back a bit to let in the sunlight.The next thing is I am carrying loads of tree up to the bonfire while Mum is having a great time giving the tree a masive hair cut. Today I can hardly move. The gardeners back has struck again. So the next time Hollygate would like to CLIP something back I will make sure that my other half is at home to do the clearing up. LOL The bed is looking good Thank you Hollygate for your help

My U 2 have done a Fantastic Job on This Border Donna :) I love the Up-Rite Logs that go around the Border :) Well Done now take a Long hard earned Rest :)

know what you mean about the back though, after painting that shed i can hardly lift my arms today and because i had to sit on a stool to paint the bottom bit (because of Menieres) my lower back is aching!!!!

i do enjoy getting stuck in with the clippers. i must admite i am quite stiff to day .but mums are there to give a helping hand. wish i was twenty years younger .but we cannot turn back the clock.

Now donnah you know that mother knows best - at least that's what I try to tell my sons. I think you've both done a brilliant job and I can imagine what it will look like when your plants have grown.
