I used to love bonfires in the garden when I was little.

i still do love them but too much, too close to the garage and house. its not the same in an incinerator bin.

We have an open grid-type of incinerator and we burned a whole lot of stuff yesterday. Henry hates it - he runs away as far as he can get!

You are so lucky to have the space for a bonfire, most goes on the compost, the rest goes to the tip.

Your garden looks like hundred acre wood!!! its Huge! I have to put all my garden rubbish in the green wheelie bin for the council to compost it.

We had the hose ready When he first lite it the flames went up very high but he kept it under control We are lucky as our garden leads up to a forest which the owner lets us use.

Do you get any wildlife from the forest?

I sounds lovely Donna. I used to be able to burn when I lived on the farm. Now we're on the edges of the city we aren't allowed to burn without a permit and they don't give them out very often. I miss them too.
