The longest day

I have just been told that today is the longest day. I am not very happy about this at all. (Ian i am about to spitt my dummy out) The summer has not started yet .My flower beds have not reached their peak A lot of my plants have not even shown their face yet. I arrive home from work at app 4 in the afternoon after a 24 hour shift. And I come home water the garden .clean out my avairy. Water the greenhouse and all the baskets. Then try and do some hoeing to keep on top of the weeds. Look after my bunny and cat. My poor partner does not get a look in , Bless . I finally come indoors when its turning dark. O on top of all that try to keep up with the the house work and the other things us ladies do .I have spent most of the winter in my greenhouse working hard growing things
Freezing to death . And just when I get used to the garden looking good and warm evenings I get told THE NIGHTS ARE PULLING IN WHAT????

Don't fret Donnah. There are many more months before the winter. Summer is just about to start :o)

Your not on your own, i was thinking the same as we are now getting darker abit each night, i know we still have afew months to go before the dark nights really come, but its the thought of them.

We must have had the longest day because the place that I work has now stopped selling garden furniture until next year........because 'it's the end of the season'!! Unbelievable!!

I know ow you feel.....I told my husband he was not allowed to mention it, as I did not want to know, so I am not listening.......fingers in my hears.............lol
