Back again!

Well, I’ve been away working and have just got home a couple of days ago to find that most of my plants have really sprouted – with a little help from my mum!
My radishes unfortunately were left in the pots too long and have now gone past the point of no return, but I’ll maybe give them another try. The tatties are doing well as are the tomato plants. Best of all though, I now have some chillies and a wee pepper appearing! The sweet basil has gone mad and I’ve had to give a pot of it to one of my neighbours. The spinach has really grown and tastes lovely. Still not too sure about my beetroot though.

Off to the garden centre tomorrow to see what I can plant in the next few days!

Fingers crossed!

Hi FBJ! It's good to go away & come back to find things have grown on apace! Good old Mum! Fresh basil is so fragrant....lovely & you'll enjoy your chilli more with your own chilli in it!

I just can't wait, I'm too impatient, then I worry about when things are ready to use and then I leave them too long - a bit like my radish. I need to screw the bobbin and get a book or something. :-)

Is that last one basil ? That's a favourite of mine.

Blodyn, the last one is sweet basil - its lovely. Been using quite a lot of it and it just keeps sprouting new leaves.
Fluff, 'screw the bobbin' is one of those things my gran used to say. Don't know if it's a scottish thing or not, nut it means to just get on with it or just stop faffing about and do something! Hope that helps. :-D
