spring is on it's way!

I have a lovely little patch of crocus on my front lawn and more exciting my French neighbours have been out today digging over their veg patch. I have to be patient Monsieur told me and wait for the “rouge lune” The red moon apparently is a sign that the frosts in the morning are over and we can start planting. The onions on my spare bed- now christened the onion bed- are continuing to flourish. I have my seed potatoes in egg boxes waiting for them to do whatever they have to do- chit- I think and I have sown a few herbs in a seed box which is cling filmed on my window sill. Hope everyone is okay- regards to all

You've made a good start - but when is the 'Rouge Lune'? I hope you know!

I hope you have success with your potatoes. I'm thinking of growing some in big bags this year.

Hi there Frenchgardener, I love the french vegetable plots, have put some photos on my homepage, we take lots of pics when we are in France, our favourite place in the world, if things had worked out we would be living the dream now, we will be over in July, all being well, good luck with your garden and your vegetables.
