I bought my first hydrangea and put it in a pot on my front porch 2 years ago...now I have 4 or 5 of them and they are growing in a garden along my front wall of my house facing west. I have fond memories of my Enlish grandmother having a giant blue hydrangea growing against her back wall of her home ...it grew on the west wall of home as well come to think of it.
