pussy willows
Genus: Salix.
Species: Salix discolor.
I have two types of pussy willows right now...one is a weeping pussy willow that I planted last spring and the other is a French pink pussy willow that I planted at the same time....the weeping pussy is next to my front porch and the pink is next to my garden water faucet...it gets plenty of water there...they are both in my west facing front yard so will have to watch the afternoon sun in the summer months.
