Alyssum
Genus: Alyssum.
Species: Alyssum Maritimum.
In Italy, grows as perennial. Evergreen and always in flower. Survives in dryest areas without water. Great carpeter. I have 2 kinds, one is compact and forms low cushions and will spread and create new plantlets (started off with 2 plants and now have over 20). Other type grows taller and more straggly and is better for covering unsightly areas. My most useful plant.
