Geranium 'Rocky Mountain Red'
Genus: Pelargonium.
Species: pelargonium hortorum.
I just love this screaming red. I have carried this strain for a few years now, making new cuttings in january to prep for outside. I find that I have to get the blooming going with a feeding or two indoors before they go out and I'll get a fantastic show all summer long. I've pulled the plant and brought them in but find it more reasonable to just keep a stock plant inside and pull cuttings in fall. I'm developing a wonder for these little beauties. I don't break off as often as some do to keep compact, I like the big cutting I can take once or twice a year.
