Mahonia
Genus: Mahonia.
Species: Mahonia aquifolium.
This plant chose me, rather than me choosing it. It grows in my neighbours garden, and its suckers must have come under the wall. It makes a better show, as it is by our front gates. I have to cut it back after flowering, because we have a narrow drive, it catches on the car if I let it get too bushy.
Very pretty plant, well worth having.
