i have four of these trees, now 5-6 years old and brought back from Gran Canaria as 6 inch seedlings. They are now 7-8 feet tall and root pruned and repotted into the same large pots every spring. They overwinter outside now and have done for the last 3 years. taking temperatures of mins 3-5, with some foliage and tip damage but they reshoot beautifully in spring. Is anyone else growing these in the UK? I'm thinking of planting mine out in the spring and wondered if anyone had tried. I'm in North, not Central, London!
