Runner Bean 'Painted Lady'
Genus: Phaseolus.
Species: Phaseolus coccineus.
Heirloom strain I got as seed, a little spendy for seed, but the reulst was a hardier looking leaf with white centered flowers that did look a hint of little hooded ladies. I didn't have the season to collect mature seed but may next year. I like this bend from the norm, and what a show stopper for quick and thick vines for filling in a rail, especially on a porch or other place where there isn't soil to plant a vine or climber. I've had 8-10ft plants packed 10 per pot.
