Jack-in-the-Hedge / Hedge Garlic
Species: Alliara Petiola.
An annual hedgerow weed. Not actually related to alliums but when crushed the leaves smell of mild garlic.
A useful early and free addition to salads and sandwiches, both young leaves and flowers can be eaten.
