Squash
I have a small tub with about 200 assorted squash and pumpkin seeds, some from a fresh fruit, some store bought. I sowed them about 3 to a hole on the 20th, and so far haven't seen anything, but I know they can be a little long to start, so i'm not worried. My biggest concern, now that I've planted them, is that I could potentially end up with 72 squashes, each needing about 3ft square of garden....I don't have that much garden!
Meh, s'okay; my grandad lives in a retirement home with lots of little gardens, and all the dears there love gardening, so hey, a baby squash or three makes a nice gift :-) and they're tough enough that I can leave them growing in my front garden (mostly unused 'cause of the fear of vandals). I'll manage.
