Fern - Japanese Shield Fern
Genus: Dryopteris.
Species: Dryopteris erythrosora.
bought from B&Q March 2009 - i have planted it in the back corner behind the willow te-pi.
young leaves are copper-coloured then mellow to green. good for shady borders and by ponds. also for well watered tubs, evergreen, hardy perennial.
H 40cm x S 50cm.
Part shaded moist and sheltered.
