Peonies
Genus: Paeonia.
Species: Paeonia lactiflora.
I bought 5 peonies about 4-5 years ago, mainly the Sarah Berndardt's and every year they produce very well. Although two Fall's ago, I noticed white patches all over all of them and my mother in law told me to cut them down to the end. She also told that they had a fungus. I did what she said and they did bloom well, but on one plant there were only 2-3 flowers. Normally there have been 6-8. I really love this Perennial and will always add more to my beds as much as I can afford to.
