sweet violets
Genus: Viola.
Species: Viola odorata.
Intoxicating scent on sunny days. Self seeds and sends out runners. Evergreen. Edible. Had a garden full of this in Sweden and really missed it after moving back to Wales. A friend sent me 3 tiny plants and they have now been divided and form 5 decent sized clumps. Only downside is that the slugs love them almost as much as I do.
