Genus: Bergenia.
Species: Bergenia purpurascens.
I have two types, this pale pink one in flower in March. may not be B. purpurascens.
A darker one that I know has the variety name delavayi on the label but cant find it listed.
It is a mid summer flower that is a magenta pink. the foliage goes reddish in autumn too. it is very happy in mid shade.
