I have to thank the previous owner of this garden - he planted 32 Magnolia trees and shrubs !
I don't know the names of all of them, but ones I know [from the labels] are: M. campbellii x, M. mollicomata, M. mollicomata "Lanarth", two "Stellata" that might be "Star Wars", M. Susan, M. loebneri 'Leonard Messell', M. salicifolia (one of my favourites), M. grandiflora (don't know which one), and some yellow ones: Miss Honeybee and Elizabeth.
This spring has been wonderful with only light frost, little wind and not much rain to destroy the blooms.
