Species: Rosa filipes.
Another rose that likes where it is... it is completely bonkers. The longest shoot is about 6 metres long (it hit a fence strut and turned back on itself. I'll let it bloom this year and probably prune it back later...
Was slightly surprised the first time I saw its blooms - was expecting big roses and got lots of fried quails eggs instead. Once. Still, it produces lots of hips that look nice in the winter and the display should be good this year.
