Genus: Lavatera.
Species: Lavatera x clementii.
I have a lavatera shrub not sure of name and how it is spelt growing well for three or four years , however friends told me to cut it right down which I have done(oct 2008) and to date there is no sign of life this is the second time as I did the same thing with a previous plant 6 years ago have I killed the plant
