Corokia
Species: Corokia x virgata.
Dense shrub bought from Millrace again. There were two types, one had more upright stems and was twice as expensive. This Corokia has succulent-like chubby leaves and this year produced a mass of tiny orange/yellow flowers that smell like vanilla. It then produces bright orange fruits to brighten winter. The flowers smell so sweet I might try eating the fruit this year.
