Species: Allium altaicum.
This one isn't mine, though it does say it self seeds and I ought to grab a flower head for myself. :-) This allium is grown in Fairbanks where it comes through each winter easy. Spicy leaves and on large clumps the bulb can be eaten like an onion. The flower isn't a big showy business but a simple white in the onion shape as well. Still to see if the flowers get round or stay pointed.
