Genus: Echium.
Species: Echium pininana.
The seeds came with the post yesterday. Bought them on ebay. I sowed them as soon as they arrived. Not sure now whether seeds had to be covered with a few millimetres of compost or not. We'll see, hopefully these will take and do well.
