Species: Hirta Sonora Cone Flower.
Yellow & black flowers up to 5" across on short, strudy stems that require no support.
Easy to grow, lasts for years and hardy in all but the coldest areas.
SUITABLE FOR: Sunny in any fertile, well-drained soil. In colder areas, grow against a warm wall.
FLOWERING TIME: August to September.
Height & spread: 16" x 16"
PLANTING: Water thoroughly before planting. Prepare the planting area by digging a hole twice the size of the pot. Water in well and regularly until established.
Care: may require some winter care if grown in a pot.
