Genus: Polystichum.
Species: Polystichum polyblepharum.
Outdoor ferns are low maintenance, fully hardy garden plants with an organic look. Most varieties prefer a spot in (dappled) shade. In mild winters, many varieties stay green, making them decorative even in the cold season.
Very little care required as only the old fronds have to be cut away in the Spring before the young fronds unfurl.
