CALLUNA VULGARIS: Silver Knight
Genus: Calluna.
Species: Calluna vulgaris.
An erect growing plant with lavender flowers in late Summer, displayed on silver grey foliage which deepens purple grey in Winter.
Flowers late Summer.
Height to 40cm by 50cm across.
Lime free soil. Thrives in full sun or partial shade. Water well for first Spring and Summer after planting.
Water as necessary, particularly in dry weather conditions. Trim to base of flower spike after flowering.
