Genus: Muscari.

Species: Muscari armeniacum.

[could plant down bottom of garden in between new ferns & acid patch, as well as up by the alliums]
flowers mid spring (April-May), 10-15cm high
sun/light shade; well drained soil
plant Sept-Dec, 8cm deep, 10cm apart (but can get away with planting them closer)

tolerates slightly acidic soil (not too acidic though)
