Naturally distributed through the tropical areas of Australia, the Cape York Lily (Curcuma Australasica) is a native turmeric of the ginger family.
It has striking long-lasting electric pink blooms. It dies back in the drier Winter months before re-merging from underground rhizomes with the onset of the 'wet' season.
It flowers from December to March. Place in part shade to full sun for optimum growth and flowering.
