Pumpkin 'spirit'
Genus: Cucurbita.
Species: Cucurbita pepo.
This bush form pumpkin is reliable even here in the cold, gave a great bunch of yellow flowers and big green foliage. I got one pumpkin in the early season that I kept and removed all others as the season went, afraid the season was too short anyway. It had to come in to orange up. Raised beds for these here are a must for the warmth. I had good results in a half barrel planter.
