Genus: Achillea.
Species: Achillea millefolium.
This wild member of our flora is very tall and bright in a garden situation and returns each year in place so you can give extra love to a favorite. I love this plant and love how large it gets here. I've one repeating next to my southwest bed and getting better each year. Not brave enough to move it, I am establishing the bed around it. :-) I would like to introduce colored varieties and see if they do just as well, but haven't started that testing process as of yet. :-)
