I bought two plants around two years ago, it tends to spread but is great for filling gaps. Grows really tall with small bunches of bright purple flowers on top, very pretty and attracts butterfly's over the summer months through the winter the flower tops seed and attracts many birds this january i have been inundated with visiting goldfinch
