really deep purple leaves with small pink flowers in the summer very pretty, I bought this at a local garden centre for £3.95 on a sick shelf, It can grow up to 6ft in 10 years but has trebiled in size in 6 months.... Cattepillars do seem to love this so need to be vigilant
