Genus: Calluna.
Species: Calluna vulgaris.
I've got a couple of these, both good buys at my local plant shop, but unfortunately unlabelled. One is pink-flowered, the other white-flowered - but I've no good sunny spots in the garden for them any more! They might end up being dedicated pot plants.
