Species: Corylus avellina.
10 x Hazel for front garden hedge. Planted 2.5.11.
Original site cleared of fir tree species which had become un-manageable.
Hardy multi-stemmed hedge. The dark green leaves are round tipped and toothed turning an attractive yellow colour in Autumn. Yellow catkins appear in early Spring.
Trim once a year in July. First trim will be July 2012. To encourage bushiness ensure tips taken out.
Planted with hornbeam - 2 hornbeam and then 1 hazel.
