Catananche caerulea (Cupid's dart)
Genus: Catananche.
Species: Catananche caerulea.
Very unusual flowers, deep blue, which open single and become double as further petals unfurl from the centre. Said to be short lived, but my plant has survived since 2003 and is going strong.
