Genus: Digitalis.
Species: Digitalis purpurea.
I adore these. They are just the common variety which arrived on their own and reseed every year. I have planted perennial varieties but haven't been totally successful - several have just disappeared. Again, they are a great attraction to bees. I move them around (plants not bees) so that they form stands in different corners.
