The Nordmann fir is a very handsome, easy to grow, and disease-resistant tree with aromatic dark green foliage. It is one of the best trees to use as a Christmas tree because it retains its needles well, even when cut. It also forms a shapely tree that is not too bushy, with good space between the branches. Plant on a rich, free-draining soil in full sunshine to encourage plants to form good shapely trees.

The growth is dense, narrow, and conical, and very slow so believe us that every centimeter has its value. It needs a moist spot because this fir is not drought tolerant, however, it must not stand in water.
