Iris (bearded, 'Jane Phillips')
Light-blue iris we inherited, planted everywhere
This tall bearded iris has delicate, ruffled flowers in a soft, flax-blue. They are held above fans of sturdy, sword-shaped, grey-green leaves. Remember not to plant the rhizomes too deeply, they actually photosynthesize and help to provide food for strong plant growth and flower production.
