A vigorous low growing plant which is smothered in dainty pure white flowers in early summer. Originating from mountainous regions of Northern Europe and arctic. Ideal for rockeries, patio containers and the front of your flower borders. Hardy to -10c. This plant/cultivar has been awarded the RHS AGM because it proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and is a good performing plant.
Position: a free draining soil is essential. Arenaria Montana thrives in sunny positions but will tolerate partial shade.
Height and spread: 5cm x 30cm.
