Tulip Water Lily
Tulip kaufmanniana open to look like a water lily on very short stems. They are some of the earliest to bloom and return and multiply slowly. A sun reveler, opening wide in sunshine it closes at night to flaunt its outer garb of currant-red edged with yellow.
