Narcissus Sweet Love

Genus: Narcissus.

Species: Narcissus jonquilla.

Narcissus 'Sweet Love' is an enchanting jonquil hybrid with several highly scented flowers to each stem, with white petals framing a rich yellow cup with a ruffled white edge, creating a delightful and unusual bicolour effect, in April. Vigorous and exceptionally free-flowering. Makes a great impact in drifts or in smaller groups behind shorter Narcissi and with hyacinths, tulips and spring bedding plants such as polyanthus, primroses and bellis. Lovely as a cut flower.

Height 30-40cm (12-16in). Plant 8cm (3in) apart in moist but well-drained soil, in sun or partial shade. Can also be grown in containers. Remove faded flowers. Allow leaves to die down naturally.

Bee and butterfly friendly.
