Genus: Clematis.

Species: Clematis texensis.

Late flowering clematis. Beautiful dark pink, upright, tulip like flowers from mid summer to early autumn. Strong growing climber. Ideal for training on walls, arches, pi,ads, pergolas and trellis work.

Suitable to South, west. East and North facing on well drained humus rich soils

Height and spread 2.4m x 1.8m

Vertical support as needed. Tie in as necessary. Yr 1 cut back all stems to 30cm in early spring. Yr 2 and subsequent years; cut back all stems to 75cm in early spring.

Planted in shade border against post closest to the house
