Clematis Florida 'Sieboldii'

Genus: Clematis.

Species: Clematis florida.

Lots of very attractive single cream-white flowers with a rich purple centre of stamens from early summer. An excellent cut flower. Best trained up a wall or grown through a tree or shrub.

Suitable for: A sheltered south or west facing position and a rich well drained soil (full sun/ part shade)

Height & Spread: 2 - 3 m x 1 m (6-9 ft x 3ft)

Care: Frost hardy. Flowers on current season's growth. Yr 1: Cut back all stems to 30cm (12in) in early spring. From Yr 2: In early spring cut back all stems to around 75cm (30in) approx. - just above previous years growth.

Planted against garage wall.
